It's no secret that helping others and contributing to one's community through positive, impactful action makes people feel good. For Institute students, spending some time volunteering can be especially beneficial in a variety of ways. Serving others reaps many benefits spanning a student's health, community and even career prospects. As they make new connections and learn skills to advance their career, student volunteers feel happier and healthier. They strengthen ties to the community and broaden their support network.     1. Orphan's Day Celebration

    Al-Masa'i and Al-Firdaws Charitable Association was invited, and a children's concert was organized, a DJ party, a band, games for children, and a puppet theater. Gifts and meals were distributed to children, and the party continued until 3:00 pm.

    Ceremony Schedule:

  • The reception of the children by the organizing team of the students of the institute.
  • Listen to children's DJ songs.
  • The Wizard and the Playacho Clause.
  • A section on competitions and children's games.
  • Baby food.
  • Giving gifts to children.

  • 2. Visiting hospitals and nursing homes

    Visit the Oncology Center in Mansoura

    A large number of students participated in a visit to the Oncology Center in Mansoura, and they held a party for children that included songs, drawing and games, and one of the students dressed up one of the cartoon characters (Cormbo), which made the children very happy.

    3. Medical convoys

    The Institute was keen to launch several medical convoys to the villages surrounding the Institute to provide free medical services (medical examination) and treatment (medicines) to the citizens living in those villages. One of the last of those medical convoys was the medical convoy heading to a village.... on a day.... The convoy included:

  • Mr. Dr. Hashem ... (Doctor of the Institute).
  • Mrs. / .... (the nurse at the institute's medical clinic).
  • Mr. Mahmoud Hamed, Director of Youth Welfare at the Institute.
  • President of the Students' Union.
  • Members of the Students' Union at the Institute.
  • Some volunteer students from different teams at the institute to develop their social responsibility and environmental service.

  • 4. Blood Donation Campaigns

    Within the framework of the institute's keenness to serve the community in the medical sector through cooperation with hospitals and blood banks, the institute was keen to communicate with the regional center for blood transfusion in Mansoura, on Monday, February 28, 2022 inside the institute's campus in order to serve the people of Mansoura and provide Reserves of different blood types in hospitals.


    5. Concerts for the blind and people with special needs

    As part of the institute's keenness to provide support to people with special needs, the institute has been keen to organize many parties for people with special needs. The last of those concerts was the party that took place for blind children from the Al-Noor and Al-Amal Association in the Engineering Theater on Tuesday, 23/11/2021. Presenting many artistic performances during the ceremony, where talented children from the association participated in some of the paragraphs.


    6. Training of students from neighboring schools

    The Institute wrote to many surrounding schools to offer free training grants in computers and the English language, with the participation of the communication and electronics program's students, with five students from each school, as a free grant for outstanding students in the various stages of education. The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in Dakahlia was also addressed to approve and submit.
