The Nile Higher Institute for Engineering and Technology in Mansoura is keen to meet the needs of the
engineering labor market, both internally in Egypt and externally in Arab and foreign countries through
three engineering programs for a bachelor's degree in engineering in communications and electronics
engineering, civil engineering and architecture programs. Perhaps one of the most important factors
affecting the level of the graduate and his suitability for the labor market is the preparation of
distinguished training programs that directly contribute to the weight of the student's experiences and
prepare him in an effective way to join the labor market after graduation.
In general, there are two types of training that a student can join: internal training, which takes place
within the Institute's laboratories and under the full supervision of the Institute, and field (external)
training, which takes place in external training companies and sectors. The training programs, especially
the external ones, which take place in the external training agencies, help in direct contact between the
student and the employers, which ensures the transfer of practical experiences that are difficult to acquire
in the institute's laboratories, which ensures a distinguished graduate who is able to keep pace with the
continuous development in employment requirements in the engineering sector.
The Institute is keen to develop internal training mechanisms through continuous development in the
Institute's laboratories, as well as the preparation of good training programs, which serve what is taught
in the various specialized courses. The institute contains a unit for engineering consulting, which offers
wonderful training opportunities and enables students to interact effectively with the labor market by
participating in the free engineering consultations that the unit undertakes, whether internal consultations
(within the institute) or external consultations.
The institute also seeks to attract many experienced engineers to participate in the internal training at
the institute to match between the contents of the training courses to the external work environment. On the
other hand, the institute is keen on continuous communication with external training sectors and companies,
especially the distinguished ones, and the conclusion of many cooperation protocols, which guarantees the best
opportunities for training students and enhancing their practical skills in line with the needs of the labor
market and the continuous development in the engineering sector.
Its main objective is to refine the information and knowledge that the student received, which includes many concepts and basic knowledge related to the institute, as well as various engineering programs such as (AUTOCAD, MATLAB, CCNA, 3D MAX..etc). The student is also equipped for the needs of the labor market through courses in structural engineering and courses in surveying for students of the Department of Civil Engineering. As for students of the Department of Architectural Engineering, the department conducts workshops and lectures on architectural design and the accompanying field research, with regard to students of the Department of Communications and Electronics Engineering. They are trained on electrical designs and installations, as well as training courses on programming and electronics principles.
It is considered as the gateway to the world and the external environment, which in turn allows the student to interact directly and effectively with the environment in which he is likely to work after his graduation. The objectives of external training can be summarized in the following points:
The Arab Contractors Company is one of the largest and oldest contracting companies in the Middle East and
Africa, with roots extending back to more than half a century. It has always sought development, which made
it combine originality and long experience that was passed on from generation to generation, as well as
development and the use of the latest construction methods and technology. The activities of the Arab
Contractors do not depend on contracting works such as construction, bridges, roads, tunnels, airports, water
and sanitation projects, power stations and dams, but rather extend to specialized and complementary
activities to the contracting activity such as ready-mixed concrete or complementary works (finishes -
carpentry - plumbing - electricity) and the manufacture and installation of structures and formwork Mineral,
restoration of monuments, irrigation, shipbuilding, electromechanical works, engineering consultancy and
others.
The Arab Contractors Company and the Nile Higher Institute for Engineering and Technology in Mansoura agreed
to cooperate in training engineering students in the civil, architecture, and electrical departments during
the summer vacation every year in the months of June, July, and August.
An Egyptian joint stock company affiliated to the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Wastewater that
provides high-quality drinking water services and safe disposal of wastewater on sustainable economic and
developmental bases.
Both the Drinking Water and Wastewater Company in Dakahlia and the Nile Academy of Sciences in Mansoura agreed
to develop a protocol for cooperation between them that represents the nucleus of the foundations and policies
of community participation and scientific and practical cooperation in the field of drinking, sanitation and
training and to start implementing joint research projects between them aimed at developing scientific research
and contributing to solving problems facing the governorate of Dakahlia and exchanging experiences and
technical cadres in the field of drinking and sanitation, by following sound environmental and scientific
methods and methods and exploiting the capabilities available to both parties.
Believing in the management of the Higher Nile Institute of Engineering and Technology in Mansoura in obtaining a distinguished graduate who meets the requirements of the labor market and is able to compete and desire to enhance community participation, cooperation has been concluded with the Central Administration of Water Resources and Irrigation in Dakahlia Governorate, which has the desire to develop and strengthen bilateral relations between it and the educational institutions in the region to achieve Community development through cooperation in various scientific, practical and artistic fields to achieve their goals.
Al- Fursan Contracting and Roads Company aims to strengthen the road and bridge engineering sector with a different vision. The training sector within the company offers many practical training courses for the students of the program in areas related to the labor market, which gives them an opportunity to develop practical skills in the field of specialization as well as keep abreast of developments and successive labor market requirements, which then creates many job opportunities for them.
