Program Evaluation Summary

Our outcomes are driven mainly by the ABET criteria and by the PEOs that are aligned with the institutional mission. The program objectives set a guideline for program student outcomes, curriculum development and teaching procedure. To ensure achievement of the student outcomes, a variety of assessment tools as discussed were used. The level of assessment and evaluation process is conducted at the end of every semester, and the results of this assessment process are used to improve the educational process to achieve the targeted student outcomes. The process is summarized below in Figure 1 which depicts the assessment and evaluation process, and hence closing the loop, of student outcomes. Note that evaluation is made at two different levels, course-level and program level. The outcome of evaluation is utilized as feedback for improvement and incorporated into planning to enhance the overall attainment of student outcomes.

Copies of any of the assessment instruments or materials referenced in 4-A and 4-B. Student Outcomes will be available for review at the time of the visit. The following tables contain highlights of minutes/documents that show our continuous process of assessing the AE program annually.
